Hippopotamus Habitat

Forest Cafe brings you yet another Habitat today. A very aggressive animal, The Hippo.

Their scientific name is ‘Hippopotamus amphibius’. They are the third largest land mammal and they are considered to be one of the most dangerous animals in Africa. They love water, which is why the Greeks named them the river horse. They spend up to 16 hours a day submerged in rivers and lakes to keep their massive bodies cool. If you’re an underwater swimmer, you will surely envy them as they can hold their breath up to five minutes. Though Hippos are herbivores, don’t dare to go in front of them as they are considered to be very aggressive towards humans.

Humboldt Penguin Habitat

Forest Cafe brings you the Humboldt Penguin Habitat. The flightless seabird with the scientific name “Spheniscus humboldti”. They are very social, breeding in groups or large noisy colonies called rookeries. They can endure long periods without food on land. They are not just superb swimmers but also world class divers. Their population is declining due to competetion from fishermen for fish and shrimp. They are also very sensitive to climate change. Go ahead and place the humboldt Penguin Habitat in your Forest Cafe. We bought it all the way from Peru only for you. Watch him flutter his wings and do the happy dance..

Forest Cafe update is available in the App-Store with Bug-fixes and loads of new features. You have a new Full screen store UI and a separate category for Free Gems. Now you can store your objects without having to delete them when you run out of space with the new inventory feature and you also have the new upgradable stoves, to help you serve better food at the Cafe. You can change your Cafe name and Habitat names to give a personal touch to your Forest. Adding to the fun, you have a new Rainbow Unicorn habitat and a new splash screen. Get the update Now!

Walrus Habitat

Forest Cafe has wide collection of beautiful habitats. Have you met the Walrus yet…

The Walrus is by far the most adorable animal in Forest Cafe. It is extremely sociable, prone to loud bellowing and snorting. The large tusk is used for defense, cutting through ice and getting out of the water. Place the Walrus Habitat in Forest Cafe, watch it bounce the ball off it’s head and have fun!
