Their scientific name is ‘Hippopotamus amphibius’. They are the third largest land mammal and they are considered to be one of the most dangerous animals in Africa. They love water, which is why the Greeks named them the river horse. They spend up to 16 hours a day submerged in rivers and lakes to keep their massive bodies cool. If you’re an underwater swimmer, you will surely envy them as they can hold their breath up to five minutes. Though Hippos are herbivores, don’t dare to go in front of them as they are considered to be very aggressive towards humans.

Nemesis is the goddess of indignation and retribution for evil deeds and undeserved good fortune. She judges actions of all beings, Gods and Men. She always tries to maintain equilibrium, happiness and unhappiness are measured out by her with care being taken that happiness is not too frequent or too excessive. She is regarded as an avenging or punishing divinity.

Nemesis is trying to humble Gods who are too full of themselves. She wants to take revenge on Athena as she conspired to help Zeus from the fate that Nemesis has decided for him. The Gods want your help to crush Nemesis and promise to grant you freedom from her laws in return. They want to administer a spell on Nemesis which will cause her to bear a child who will bring death and destruction upon the world. Once that happens, she will have no time for Gods.

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair, so that I may climb the golden stairs.
